
Our brief was to create a campaign targeting college level teenagers, encouraging them to take OM’s Gap year challenge to live in a community with other students, grow their faith and learn about missional lifestyle. I filmed this in a studio with the creative director and two assistants who doubled as models, creating a quirky, upbeat video using props and light hearted imagery. Particularly fun was achieving the jelly shot of the word ‘mission’ – the final result is a combination of the letters being brushed by an assistant, while the other uses a spoon to take a chunk out of one of the letters. Unfortunately it wasn’t achieved in the first take so I masked everything out and combined the best elements to get the shot.
